Disclaimer: A "crack-shot" I am not. I want to make this clear to be fair to the gun. As an example, the first 3 shots of the group below formed a cloverleaf, that could have been easily covered with a dime---THAT is a tribute to the guns' capabilities. Having said that, I am extremely pleased with the accuracy results.
The first 50rds weren't pretty. It took me awhile to get settled in with the gun, and I haven't owned a conventional DA/SA in over 15 years. After settling in and shooting the group below, I moved to the 25yd line and repeatedly rang the 6" steel targets with boring regularity. The P239 is awesome.
A measured 15yds standing, Sig P239 9mm, WWB 115gr FMJ. Below is 2 magazines loaded with 6rds each (12 shots total). The widest spread measures 2" center/center, for reference:
