Made my first error in reloading (newbie here) overexpanded my cases to the point where they won't fit my seater die. Any suggestions other than throwing them away? Fortunately I only did 20 so its not a great loss.

Yeah it is a lesson learned. Seems like a fine line to whre the case will accept the bullet and overexpanding.

They may not fit in your seater die, but you should be able to resized them and start over again unless I'm misunderstanding the problem.

I expand/bell my cases to have the bullet sit maybe 1/16th" in the case. A good campher helps.

Run them through the sizing die again. Then re-flair just enough so you can get the bullet to just start to enter the case. :D :D

There probably flared too much to go in the sizer again !

raise a case up then adjust the die down , you`ll feel it hit then lower the ram & adjust a little at the time until ya get the desired affect . Do the same with the seater, but remember to seat a bullet to the correct depth then set the crimp.

Hope this helps even if a little.

Take your de-capping pin out first before running them through your resizing die again.

Oh yeah, that's important. We don't want any unexpected blow-outs. :D
