Splitz, thank you, yes this one is a 2nd generation model done in 1964 .this was before the 'Lawman' series of guns in SAA and Scouts ,some years later..............
if I remember correctly there was 150 made of these, this one being number #069WE.....books out in the $2995 range.......though some Colts are getting really UP THERE !!!!any of the 'snake guns' out of this world.......
Dan, all I can say is WOW!!!!!! That sure is one pretty firearm there. Just another one that's on my wish list that I'll never get. And like Splitz, I never knew about the gold ones. Nice find there, when ever you got it.
