I still remember my Grandfather from Poland referring to it as "Da shoots gun widda two holes".
My kind of immigrant. He came here from Poland with $12.60 in his pocket and spoke hardly any English at all. When he died back in 1962 he had over a quarter million dollars in his safe. He didn't believe in banks. He had his business (Saloon) and property worth another quarter mil.
He had no bar stools at his bar. If a man couldn't stand up and drink, he didn't drink in Barney's place. Ladies were not permitted in the room with the bar. He had a back room with tables for them. He held out as long as he could but eventually had to admit ladies but they didn't drink at the bar with no stools. He was quite a guy.
The clothes and the dog look upland. The gauge and length of those barrels look waterfowl. Or at the very least they do not appear to be lightweight twenties. Getting a shakedown by the Man, everybody still smiling. It's all good.
