Probably a 'stupid' question, but I'm asking it anyway. How is the front sight on an old model held in? It doesn't show a 'crimp' so how is it installed?

press fit, into a slotted 'keyway" on the Single Six...............Super Single Sixes are a screwed on base
same on the Bearcats but they also put a 'crimp' (stake) into each side of the bottom of the blade where it meets the barrel........
