Old model Micro rear sight replace with new model?

I have a line on an old model .44 Flat Top that is missing the original Micro rear sight. Does anyone know for sure if the current Ruger Micro rear sight will fit the old original Flat Top?

If you want the original, old model rounded rear Micro, I have a few left of the basic body and the blades ONLY....you will need the "parts" (springs and screws...)

Yes, they do.

I put a 50th anniversary Micro on my 1958 .44 Flattop, and the fit is excellent.

The only difference that I can see, is that there is the little rear sight blade cut out (for lack of a better discription) in the new housing, which I believe is lacking in the original.

EDIT: Of course if I had been smart enough to ask before purchasing my housing, rugerguy would only have two pictured in his hand right now. :roll:
