OLD MODEL BEARCAT NEED HELP PLZ

hey guys i have aquired a older model Bearcat it has not had the hammer mod done to it and it has a letter before the 3 digit serial # I will try to upload a coulpe pics looking for a value on this gun and any info you guys maybe able to give.. May trade or sell it not sure yet..

It sounds like you have an "Aplhabet" Bearcat.
First, condition is VERY important. Pics will help a bunch in determining value. Next, if someone has a consecutive mate to it, it could be worth a little more. Having the box & papers drives the price up, or down if you don't have those items.
The devil in pricing is the details.
It could be as low as $200 for a pure used shooter, to as much as $450-$500 for a pristene boxed example.

with no box, we get in the $400-450 range around here in Ohio...had a "D" alphabet on the table last weekend at $425 for a guy , and he still has it and its pretty nice, no box, but a cool number.............

I've been keeping an eye out for one of those at a good price. $400-$500 is what I see on gunsamerica and gunbroker. Sometimes a bit higher sometimes lower.

I don't know much about which models are more desireable. I buy my guns for shooters.

Seems like it would be a very fun gun to have and an excellent choice when people ask me to get them started shooting.

Nice. I paid $325.00 for an 'alphabet' gun about a a year ago that was about 90%. Mine is a "K-***" serial number and came with the original box and sales slip.
