Old Model .357 Convertible Question

I have an Old Model .357 convertible, with a factory letter confirming it is a convertible. The serial number which is normally on the front of each cylinder, on this gun is on the back of the cylinders. I heard this is an unusual variation. Does anyone know how many of these were made like this? Is this more valuable than other old model convertibles?

I thought they were all on the back of the cylinder.Mine is

Most are on the front.

Some are on the back.

I'm not aware of any particular "value" to the placement, but ya never know.

nope, nothing "extra", seen them BOTH ways off and on over the years.
