Revolver carbines haven't proved to be very practical, and it's certainly not the most graceful stock I've seen, but it is certainly an interesting adaptation. I don't regard Ruger firearms as holy icons, so it it doesn't affect me the same way it seems to affect others on this forum.

You can do pretty much whatever you want to a BP gun. It isn't a "firearm"

That would make a great black powder deer hunting rifle. There is probably some wording in the hunting laws making it illegal for hunting. Multiple shots would be frowned upon.

MN doesn't allow BP revolvers during BP season. It's gotta load through the muzzle.

Interesting idea, although not something in my opinion that needed doing. The execution however looks particularly poor and unprofessional.

These "revolver carbines" are a great idea... in theory. In reality, if the support hand finds its way forward of the cylinder during firing, things get ugly real quick. Especially if flashback cooks off an extra cylinder. And , this is a particularly grotesque example. Uggghhh.

IIRC, black powder revolvers with removeable shoulder stocks are already available, He didn't need to "Bubba" an Old Army to get one.
