Coyote Hunter
Single-Sixer
Below is a pic of the two firearms I've acquired in the last couple weeks.
The top one is an H&R Handi Rifle SB2 made in 2001 and chambered in .308 Win. Ran cross it on the used gun rack at Gander Mountain while looking for a Henry .22 for my son in law. It came with the scope and bases and for $189 I couldn't pass it up. Santa delivered both Christmas morning. Had it at the NRA Whittington Center last Wednesday and was knocking over the 500 meter rams with relative ease.
The other is a High Standard Model C that Granddad bought some years ago, probably before I was born. It was one of the firearms I learned to shoot with as a kid. Last time I saw it, a year ago, I spent about two hours cleaning it. Granddad passed away at age 100 a week ago and today I took the Model C out for the first time in 40, maybe 50 years. Ran a couple boxes of .22 shorts through it. Had a great time and had forgotten how accurate it is.
