1970, OM Blackhawk .30 Carbine. Picked it up last weekend at the gun show. Looks like less than a box of shell thru it.

Took it to the range Monday. Still have the grin on my face. Loads much easier than my NM .357.

Congratulations on the biggenflashenloudenboomen fun gun! Make sure you wear your ear protection!

.30 Carbine and H-110 = a marriage made in Heaven.

Very nice! They are a bit on the loud side, but thats what makes them cool! I like the .30 Carbine, the Speer 110 grain bullets and H110 is my standard.

Oh-oh! Somebody else done found out our secret. It just keeps making the nice Olde Models harder to find and prices keep climbing! It's understood that there are a few folks wanting to sell their Olde Models and they LIKE to see the prices going up

That definitely looks like a fun one! Nice find!

So glad you're enjoying the old model.

It won't be your last....

Prepare yourself and buy a bigger safe.

"OK, now I understand"

Now that's funny!

I knew even before I opened the thread, what this was going to be about!

Now you see, and I couldn't agree with you more Rat76!

Looks like you have some fun times ahead of you!

Enjoy your OM Blackhawk! :D

That's one sweet shooting little gun. I have 2 of them but mine are the new model's. I bought one new and found a used one later. I took the new one and cut the bbl back to 4 5/8" since ruger doesn't see fit to make one. I have mostly that length guns and like them better than the long barrels. The short one is now a favorite shooter it's almost like shooting a 22 with a bigger bang. It's a great little plinker. I really enjoy it now.
