Odd place for a statue

Many, many years ago, I was a member of a large Baptist Church in mid-town Memphis. Diagonally across the street from my church was Galloway Methodist Church. I drive down that street every so often just for a reminder of the long ago past.

Galloway Church is no longer a Methodist Church, but standing out in front now is a bronze statue of.............................Johnny Cash.

In his early days, he and the Tennessee Two played there.

Y'all remember it was originally The Tennessee Three, with Luther Perkins in the group. Luther was staying at Johnny Cash's house and died in the fire there.
