Traded into this yesterday.8" barrel 32 H&R mag.Has the barrel shroud extra with the scope mount and rings.IHMSA field pistol on both shrouds.Really great shape just don't know too much about the gun.Have shot it before,about 20 years ago or so.Very accurate gun w 115 or 95 grain lead.Anyone know where I might look to find out it's worth and how old it is?serial TFP0031A.Thanks,Slow

Go to the DW forum. There is a listing of models and serial numbers that will help you out. The older DW's are great and accurate shooters. Don't see to many 32 mags.

Can't help you with the dating but can tell you that if you try .32 S&W Long wadcutters on small game from that thing you will be amazed at how accurate and controllable they are and how they kill stuff without making a mess! I've used a 6" S&W Model 32-1 .32 Mag with this load for years and have found it exceptionally reliable. If you don't handload, get Fiocchi wadcutters. They seem to be loaded a little hotter than US shells.

Your Wesson should "shoot like a rifle". NOT a "figure of speach"!
