No. 1A .300 Win Mag Rear Sight

I recently acquired a 131-XXXXX series rifle, my question is does anyone know where to get the correct rear sight? On this rifle the sight blade is broken............ugh! It says "Lyman" on the base. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

The standard Lyman fold-down rear sight is all you need (midway, Brownells, etc.)

(and you have a 1S, not 1A)

Markn30135 - Check out the butt pad. Could be have a rounded, textured Pachmyr butt pad.

Yes - Could be have a rounded, textured Pachmyr butt pad. I have more than one of these textured red pad rifles. Seems they were only used a few years??????

Yes. All I've seen are in the 131- prefix, mostly 375's.

1B - 300 Win Mag 131-045XX and 1S 7mm Rem Mag 131-090XX both have the Pachmayer pads and are from 1977.
