funny you say that, my wife says the same thing....lol...for the record, this one's been in my back pile 40 plus years. sat for 20 years in NY when I did my 20 years in the army. time to let a M-77 guru use it in a display.

That is a time capsule. I have a flatbolt RS .308 but it is not NIB. It's my old standby hunting rifle - when nothing else seems exactly right, the flatbolt .308 gets the nod.

1971, my birthyear. Wish we could still mail one for $5.80. In 1971 folks were probably complaining , "It's ridiculous that it costs $5.80 to ship a rifle! No reason at all that it should cost a penny over 4 bucks. What's going on with the usps rates nowadays?"
