Yep, the hits just keep on coming, for the Pats - But, what a nail-biter of a game !
JMO, but I think that NFL leadership needs to do something league-wide, about the on-field officiating - bogus calls, non-calls, "inadvertent whistles" & more.

Pats offensive line was horrible for the first half, marginal the second half.
Brady was put on the ground 10 times.
Stiffen up the offensive and LaFell and others can take up some slack make
things easier for Blunt also.Injuries are a killer.
Brock Osweiler will start vs. Patriots Week 12 gotta have some talent or he wouldn't
be there we shall see, I know nothing of him. ps

16-0 is all but impossible for NE with all of their key injuries. However, Belichick has a knack for getting performance from even the most marginally talented.
Seahawks Thomas "Lou" Rawls will run for 150+ yards vs the Steelers on the way to a 31-19 victory...... 6-5. Up next the Vikings......

I think the Pats played well considering both offensive and defensive lines are not
even close to full strength. Not to mention most key receivers are out.ps

The Official were terrible especially at the end when they gave the Broncs
" an extra time out" and allowed the clock to run with no one aware till the time was GONE
The undefeated Monkey is now off their backs. Like it or
not it does play a role to hold the streak not necessarily a good role.
I hope Gronk and the rest will be back for the playoffs they will have 5 weeks if
they secure a bye, which looks likely. ps

Welp, my Kansas City Chiefs just knocked off the Raiders 34-20 to win their sixth straight, in a typically nasty, penalty-filled Chiefs/Raiders slugfest.

And Tyvon Branch, the former Raider, sealed the victory for KC with a pick-six.
What the heck was going on with the kickers in the second half? The Raiders' Sebastian Janikowski and Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos both missed extra points in the second half on back-to-back touchdown drives for their teams, and Janikowski doinked a field goal attempt on the very next series for Oakland. (No wonder the Chiefs went for a two-point conversion the next time they scored.
)
And the Panthers and Saints are having themselves a shootout, aren't they?

I tuned in just to see the Patriots get beat and wasn't disappointed. 2 losses in a row. Hey, and the Dolphins won, 5 and 7 for the year now. Come-on 50%.

One funny note from the Pat's game. When Brady caught that pass and was running (you call that running?) down the sideline, my wife said "hey, maybe Giselle was wrong..apparently her husband CAN throw the ball and catch it too".

How awesome is this? Last year at about this time, the Chiefs' Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry was being diagnosed with cancer and put on injured reserve.
Now? He's only the number one safety in pro football. How's that for a comeback?

Looks like Justin Houston is going to miss another game with that knee sprain. I'm sure Phillip Rivers will be thrilled. OTOH, "Phyllis's" apparently got himself a case of the flu, so Chiefs/Chargers today should be interesting . . .

The Cowboys are just painful to watch this year. As I've told a few Dallas fans at work: "So you don't like Romo. How do you feel now?"
And most of the ones who aren't rooting for Dallas, are Rams fans instead. I got a fair amount of harassment earlier in the season when the Chiefs were mired in their five-game losing streak - especially after that home loss to Denver - but now I'm finding it hard to find anybody who even wants to talk about football . . .
Even at the collegiate level, well, we were all pretty fed up with Mizzou even before they went on strike. :lol:

Newton likely deserves the MVP...........the award is after all, the Most Valuable Player. His team is undefeated and most of that can be attributed to his clutch performances, when it was needed. The award is not best stats, most passing yards, whatever. Would the Panthers be in the same position without him?.......NO
I know you are huge Brady fan, but Tom is just having a Brady type year.......nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary

Honestly there isn't an argument to be made for Newton not being the MVP this year.

If Russell Wilson had played all year, like he has the last 4 or 5 games, he would be in the hunt. But given the present and the fact that the Panthers are likely going 16-0.........Newton is probably a lock and I doubt anybody will argue much with that choice...............except Brady fans who think he should win it every year...........LOL!!!

Well, the Chiefs won again and the Donkeys of Denver lost. All is well in my house. Dare I hope that KC can end up winning the division?
