new/used mini 30

I'm considering replacing my Romanian AK. I sold a couple months ago. What is a fair price on a new or used great cond. Mini 30. I'm looking to buy. Will a mini 14 stock work? I have a nice custom laminate one...

Depends on the age of the Mini 30.... I would look for a later one with the heavier barrel.... stock should work but it really just depends and since what you have is custom....

I see so few new or used Mini 30s on the market it is hard to know a good price. I'd say (just guessing) a new one will be in the $850-900 range (if you can find one) and a used one.... Hard to say. From what I'm seeing the far-more-common Mini 14s go for these days--or at least what people are asking for their used one--my estimates could be far from reality.

FWIW I have an "older" stainless Mini-30 and I love it.

Whittakers had some new stainless ones yesterday at 749.00. A new black tactical one was 679.00 if I remember right?

any mini 14 stock will fit, but you must remove a little wood where the stock reinforcement metal goes, a mini 30 metal is a little wider, if you do not remove the wood the mag will not fit in the gun
