Fellow members, I have been busy this past few months. the brass project is finished and over now. the funds were all sent in by you members and the brass distributed. There was a little left over after buying the tape and pens to address the boxes, so I found a used titanium leg that I was able to get for a song. I up graded to it just this morning. The old wooden one was getting a little shorter from wear, and now I can walk a straight line again. Since I know the person that used to wear it, I keep getting into trouble now. Steve

Wow I totally didn't expect this when I clicked on this thread!
Looks like a great upgrade.

How hard's that sucker going to be to put some fancy carving on? Maybe a badger's footprint?

Glad to see find one that fits you well and does the job.

My dad lived for about 10 years with a prothesis... He had an above the knee and didnt have the strength, heart trouble, to be able to walk with it with out crutches. he had a very hard time finding one that finally fit him ok and didnt hurt his stump becuase of the remaining bone in the bottom of the leg.

Hope it treats you well and last you many many miles.

I didnt know they still make wood. Titanium is the way to go. How do you like it so far? What kind of mods had to be done?
