New (to me) Single Six

Last week, I picked up a new toy, a 1981 Ruger Single Six. I added a pair of Altamont bonded ivory grips and a new holster. Can't wait to try it out.

Nice Single Six--love the grips. Not sure how people go a week without shooting a new gun. When I bought my Single Six I shot it within 20 minutes of completing the transfer. Ran a couple of patches down the barrel and chambers, wiped out the inside of the frame a bit, and started shooting. Of course it helps that the FFL was at the pistol range.
