New tick spread disease

My best friend and he wife moved to Arkansas a few years ago, they both have it now.
No mammal products can be consumed; milk, butter, cheese, in addition to meat plus they use animal products in all kinds of things like makeup etc.
I would not be a happy man not being able to eat pig and cow.

I have to admit that when I first started reading this article, it sounded like something that had to do with Alpha Gals - like Alpha Males. You know, the Queen Bee in a sewing circle or something. ;)

My twin brother got it over 20 years ago, one of the first to be diagnosed in Virginia thanks to the doctors at UVA that figured it out. He still gets tested every year to see if he is still sensitive, numbers are down but still gets hives from beef. He can eat pork and venison without reacting but sticks mostly to chicken, turkey, and seafood. Occasionally he’ll eat half a steak and take a Benadryl cause life without an occasional rib eye is hardly worth living.

I like chicken, turkey and sea food better than beef and pork anyway. My uncle worked in a beef processing plant and would come home with a lot of beef products. He ate beef exclusively and mainly steak. He died of stomach cancer which was probably aggregated by eating so much red meat.

How is his health otherwise?

I refuse to eat chicken for several reasons... two of them: they are nasty and on top of that 'they' throw it at you in restaurants and such for one simple reason, it is cheap. Life, especially mine, is too short to buy cheap guns, liquor or food. Also, there are all the chemicals in it from the chicken farms.
