Wunbe: Saw it. Probably. I'm so far past the NEED that it doesn't even enter the picture of the decision. I'll probably sell some Remington/Winchester.Sako etc to finance this one, should I decide to get one. AS I already have a 257AI in the same configuration, less sights, this would have to be a hgunter. I don't see it as being "collectable" On the other hand as "Huntable" it's ideal.
To me at least, the 257 Roberts "B" with a 132-003xxx serial number, on GB, is more desirable.
I'd be a lot happier if this was our long awaited 250-3000. Which by the way I want marked as a 250-3000 NOT as a 250 Savage.
