Just bought my 1st Mark III (had Ruger revolver 30+ years), and it has FTF2 & FTE issues. FTF2 = fail to feed AND fail to fire! 6 or 7 rounds out of 200, i retrieved two & took to the pro shop. The gunsmith said the firing pin strikes were ideal for rimfire; try different ammo. I took Winchesters next time, and one (out of 200) fail to fire again! Also have feed/extract problems, though no more than my 10/22 Ruger rifle. In 30 years, my revolver never failed once. Is this just a semi-auto thing?? I bought Federal for next time out.
