New Ruger American predator 6.5 creedmoor

I like linear comps, no side ports to make it louder... I just got one from S&J Hardware for my Mini 30. They reduce muzzle rise pretty well.
If Ruger adds the 6.5 to their Ranch models, or offers it with the 18.5" in the Predator, I'd buy one (I like short barrels).

I think momentum is building towards a new 6.5 spec that is compatible with the existing 5.56 receiver base (gobs of money from the AR fetish crowd--of which I'm one--is always a prerequisite) I personally believe that the smarter barrel manufacturers have decided the 6.5 is "where it's at" and are looking for the cartridge that maximizes the potential for the bullet. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/04/04/long-range-wildcat-ar-15-6-5-40mm/
907, I mounted a standard 5/8 x 24 A2 flash hider on my Predator in 308 using a crush washer. I'm glad you got a 6.5 CM, I was beginning to think they were never going to make any in that flavor. I got my 308 back in June when they were first announced. BTW, the 6.5 uses the 5/8 x 24 thread pattern. Bob! 8)

Why has Ruger not produced these Rifles in any quanity? I have been trying to get one 6.5 Creedmoor Predator since they were announced last May and nothing. I work at a Local Gun store and we have had them on our wish list of 4 whole sellers and nothing. Ellett Brothers did get a few in last year but sorry sales girl was to lazy to watch for items on our wish list. But still 3 other had received none of the 6.5. Ruger has produced other items and had them in the stores in one week.
I guess the are having big problems with the guns, that would be the only reason for the delay. I have a 223 American Stainless that blew the extractor after the 4th shot with PMC 223 Bronze ammo. Low pressure good ammo. I am afraid to take and shoot it and have it die again.

One of Dad's friends brought his new 6.5 Creedmore Ruger the Whittington Center range, beautiful looking rifle, he had something internal in his scope break, switched it out for another scope on another rifle, it shot tight groups and knocks the steel silhouettes hard.
