Well Guys,
First of Jan. Son brought the Mighty Pacer up from Corpus so we could do some modes to it. These will include installing a skylight, left seaplane type door, extending wings with new typ tips, recovering and installing new alum. leading edges on left wing, new eng. cooling baffles, recover flaps and ailerons, new windshield, Vortex Generators plus misc. touch up and fixing stuff.
This is a 1952 Piper Pacer with a 150hp Lycoming. It will make it a great STOL Back Country plane when finished. I hope
Son ready to go to work with my Ruskie hat on
Type of door to install
Wing spars extended ribs added and new leading edge installed. The old wood bow gives an idea of the old shape.
Top open and parts welded in for skylight
