I just joined a few days ago and other members have already welcomed me so kindly. Looks like a great group of like-minded folks here. I'm just a regular shooting/hunter/angler/writer. I served as a USN hospital corpsman with the USMC for five years, worked as an LPN in military hospitals, then as a Master Maine Guide, and also an outdoor writer. I'm retired now (still writing a little). I enjoy shooting Ruger, have owned plenty of them and find they are top notch. If I had to rely on one gun company to protect myself with a firearm, it would be RUGER. Marlin is right up there, too, and now that they are connected...AWESOME!!!!!
