I am new to this board. I am retired Military; 30+ years US Army, 1 year tour in Iraq, 3 years; 3 year long tours in Afghanistan. Started out as a PFC becasue I had some college and retired as an )-5 (LTC). but I have always been an E-7 trapped in an O-5 body!!!
practicing gunsmith for 48 years, Grouse and Woodcock hunter. Deer hunt, caretake a 500 acre farm where I have my range and steel set up. currently a Special Deputy, lead firearms instructor and head armorer for a Sheriffs Office.
The first NEW gun I ever bought was a Ruger 10-22 when it was $57.50 (1973) I still have it. My favorite deer rifle was my 77 Hawkeye .338 Federal that was stolen. Once I get to 10 posts Ill post a WTB for one.
I forgot to mention, I live in the Northern Catskills of NY.
