Stopped by my local gunshop this morning and he had this. 1250.00 out the door. Was actually quite supprised he had one. Came home and checked the bore and went out on the back porch and shot a few rounds. It went bang every time although the trigger pull was a little heavy. It f

Sure looks awesome and well constructed. Figured Ruger would do a superior job on this line. Like the 1894 in 44 magnum myself. Finish looks much improved over the Remlin I fired 3 years back. Good luck with it.

I wonder why they cut the barrel for a rear sight then plugged it. I'm guessing everyone is gonna use the rear peep sight. They could have put a rear barrel sight on there that folds down.

I for one am waiting for the 94 model in 44mag so it will accompany my Ruger SBH of the same caliber. I am assuming Ruger will produce that model for to me the square bolt makes for a better appearance plus no open spaces to have dirt or anything else getting in the action. Getting old (am already old at 80) and don't need the extra weight of a full-size lever gun and the 44 magnum round is quite capable of taking any game I may encounter here in WV. Big fan of rifle and handgun being of the same caliber, just makes good sense to me.
