New Knife

A while back I posted a picture of a custom knife I had done by a local knife maker ( Alan Warren). I liked the first one so well I had him make another one for me. This one is a smaller version, he calls it his bird and fish knife. I plan on useing it for smaller skinning chores.

Both knives have Giraffe bone scales. mosaic pins, file work with brass pins inserted and sheaths by Alan.

I know just enough about making a knife and sheath to know just what skill went into those. Man has talent.

newrugersafan, I was so impressed with the first knife, I copied the pictures back when you first posted them.

Now turn of the flash and get outdoors, hit the macro option, Have got to get some High Quality pics of this second knife too.

Would you please post pictures of the back of the sheaths too? I would really like to see how he does the belt loop.

Cracker-American, I believe he uses a high tech material.......JB Weld .

I'm going to have him make a chute knife for me later this year. I don't have a use for one but I really like the looks of them. I'm going to have Alan use Amber Stag, no file work just clean and classic Loveless style.

Yea, I found it as well. But I like to see folks give a bit of a boost to these type of craftsmen by posting contact info. I usually do. If I like someones work, I'll let the world know it.
