In my 45 or so years of handgunning,,, I've had, used, worn out, torn, modified just about all types of holsters. I've had name brands, & off the wall stuff. I even learned how to do a bit of leatherwork as an older teen & on into my 20's. By far,,, I think Doc Barranti is about the best gun shuck maker I've ever run across. I own 5 of his shucks, and my favorite is a custom NW Hunter rig.
Luckily, we can rest assured we'll have his stuff around for a while,, as he's teaching the trade to his son.
Oh, and for those who haven't heard,,, Doc got his nickname because of a comment made by Skeeter Skelton many, many years ago; "Next to my Doctor,,, my holster maker is the most important person I know."
