Had been looking for a Bisley for a while, found this stainless .44 mag Super Blackhawk Hunter in very good shape for what I was willing to pay. The factory grips (black laminate) did not do much for me, so I asked Badger to make me a set out of Lacewood.

I like the way they turned out!

Thanks, guys. Joe, I had some Lacewood on my 31 Bertram, gut some pieces from a marine wood worker, had one under my big compass on the control panel. That one got sent to Privates, and he's making grips for my Blackhawk out of it. I thought I had more left, but I can't seem to find it. I saw Lacewood grips on Cary C's website, and they looked really nice - seems to be a good wood for fancy grips.
