It is a new model .357 blued with 6 1/2 inch barrel that Dad just got from Grandpa. Serial number starts with 33 which puts it in 1977.

Questions
Common (I assume it is)?
Value, shooter maybe 85-90%?
What size frame is this, large or medium?
Thank you
Jimmy

Very common, I have one from the same time period only mine is stainless steel, value I would guess between $350-$400, not 100% sure on the frame size I think it's large I know mine is a big heavy gun.

You and your Dad got a great gun from Grandpa. It will give you years of service and memories, until you pass it on to your kids.
They are very common, average price for a 85-90% gun will be in the $350-$400 range and it is on the large frame.

Hope y'all enjoy it.
