I have several posts regarding a problem I encountered with a Cartridge Guide Plate, on my Ruger 44mag. carbine. I wound up going to Numrich and purchasing an unfinished guide plate to install.
Here is the issue: Could anyone in our viewing audience please pm me with some pictures showing as close as possible the guide plate in relationship to the Receiver/Magazine.
I have the guide plate installed and after careful fileing am able to close the bolt to battery, however any attempt at cycleing rounds is a failure in that they do not feed properly and smokestack.
