Can anyone tell me what style box would a s/s Blackhawk 357 6 1/2" with a serial number in the 33-614XX range have come in. This revolver has no warning on the barrel and is as new. Price was $400.00 at gun show today. The best I can tell it is from 1977. Thanks

It was shipped in a reddish orange hinged lid box with white markings. The flimsiest of the boxes ever used. THe end label should identify your gun as a KBKH-36.

Contender, I think the model number should be KBN-36. The BN stands for Blackhawk New Model

Thanks guys, the info is helpful. I went to the show to find one and nobody had one on the table. As I was walking toward the door I saw a guy showing one to a young man who declined the purchase. I asked the guy if he was selling the BH and he said yes and handed it to me. The condition was like new and he said he fired it 8 times and kept it put away. It wasn't until the ride home that I realized it was old enough to be pre warning. I was " Happy Happy Happy" !!! Now to find a proper box. Thanks again
