need help with mag catch button

I just aqquired an older model p89 manufacture date is 1994 with 5 mags anyways the right side button of the ambi mag catch is missing where would be the best place to get this ? will I need a whole new mag catch ?

If you have not done so yet take a look at the manual. There is a drawing of the parts in the back. go over the gun and order what you need from Ruger they are usually cheapest. To be clear, call and talk to them don't order online as the freight will be doubled.

If after you look at all the parts and still only need that one small part, I would post in the classified and someone may have a spare. In this case a used part should be fine. I may even have a spare.

Congrats on a great gun and welcome.
(The 89 was my first Ruger now I have a bunch of the P-series.)

thanks I would look but as I got this second hand it didnt have a box or manual with it maybe there is a link online I can look at and buy one there

ok thanks i went to there sight and think i have found the right part numbers it gives 2 different numbers a right side and a left side part #s V02600 , V02601
