Need A Source for a GOOD Quality Wallet

I'm looking for a heavy duty, gonna-last-me-forever, good quality wallet. Not the cheesy $19.95 carp that's available on Amazon or at Wallie World. I'm looking for a holster-maker quality wallet, and expect it to cost me $50 or more. Anyone care to make a recommendation?

I have used a Swiss Gear trifold in black leather for ten years and it has held up very well. Looking through the above suggested links by previous posters, the Hanks Wallets look like a very good pick and great value.

I have a wallet made from elephant hide that I have been using for 18 years. Beginning to show some wear but still a lot of use left in it. I picked it up at some shop in South Africa. I know this probably doesn't help. :?

There is a guy on the Accurate Reloading forum who makes leather wallets out of elephant hide. I bought one years ago and it is tougher than all get out. He goes by Will and he has made leather chinks for me, the wallet and he does good work.

They have an honest-to-goodness 100 year warranty on their products. I've had a wallet from them for about a decade now, and it looks better than the day I got it. They make them out of boot leather, with pigskin lining.

I have a Nocona (the cowboy boot company) wallet that is 10 years old and good as new. I went past the Nocona factory in Texas a few weeks ago, really wanted to stop and visit but I'd have probably come out with three more pairs of cowboy boots and my closet is small and already full of boots. :)

Been using an elephant hide wallet from Bullhide for several years now and other than a little turning of the corners, it shows no wear. JW Hulme is also really good stuff. I have their iPad cover and some of their luggage.

I gave up on wallets, now I use a small plastic ziploc-type bag, buy em 100 for $1 at WalMart, fits cards and folded money perfectly, can seal it up if I expect to be around water, when it finally wears out after a few weeks I've got 99 more. Front left pocket carry, so my right side is still free for gun draw.

It seems like I’ve heard of saddleback leather, thanks for the picture. Your wallet doesn’t look bad at all for 10 years....

I buy all my wallets in Bulgaria. Every time we go I buy one or two. They are made there, all are leather and lined, most are two fold I guess, but s couple I have are tri fold wallets. I have a lifetime supply. They last forever and I swap them out just for something new every3 or 4 years. I probably have a dozen stashed away.... so I’m good for the next 50 years.

Yep, you have the right guy. I don't mind the winters too much, I grew up here in Wisconsin. I definitely don't miss the summer heat in Texas.

I haven't been around here at all for a few years, just stopped in today because I had found some old pictures of one of the gatherings down in TX. Glad it still feels like home here lol.
