The Sticks---N.W. Orygun
I ran across a single six today in a pawn shop. It was marked 22mag on the side and had only the mag cylinder. XR3 grip frame under the walnut grips. serial number 3265XX. It was clean but has seen some holster wear on the bluing in the normal areas. I would rate it 85-90%. So is this a rare one or just run of the mill??? Thanks for any help.

The condition, IMHO, makes it a "run of the mill" example of the RSSM. I'd consider it to be in the "shooter" class and would probably let it go. Value? A tough call..... $275 or so.....

I have always liked the RSSM model--- just not worth a lot of money in 85% condition--sometimes you see them priced real high like 400.00 for a shooter grade gun because the dealer see's the 3 screws and therefore its got to be rare or hard to find :) well all old model's are getting harder to find --a lot of guns the rare or like new ones are in collections---use to see a RSSM at a lot of gunshows but now at the average gunshow not to be---but one shows up like new seldom--saw one LAST YEAR A GUY WANTED 600.00 FOR IT :!: 100% gun. 80% 250.00 or less and .22 mag. ammo is not cheap :!:
