Single-Sixer
Thought I'd post some pics of a little neck knife I designed. It was made by John of JK Handmade Knives. This was a custom design for myself but I had John make an extra one for my website. I think my wife has decided to keep the other one though 
. I plan to have him make another one for the website soon and I have a few little drop point necker designs drawn up. I plan to send him one of them when I decide which one I like best.
I designed this one mostly as a last ditch type knife and wasn't sure how I'd like it. After getting it in hand, I'm very pleased with it. I kind of had a straight razor or cleaver in mind when I was drawing it out but wanted it to have some belly on the blade. I think I may call it "Bandit" because the blade kind of reminds me of the one arm bandit pocket knives we had as kids. I asked John to put a right hand chisel grind on the nose and he went with a saber grind on the main edge. John made up some kydex sheaths and I added a stainless bead chain.
I went ahead and forced a patina on mine because being O1 steel and laying against my skin it will have one soon anyway. I made some what of a pattern with the patina by putting drops of vinegar on the blade and letting them sit for a while. I like the way it turned out.

3 1/4" handle
2 3/4" blade
2 5/8" cutting edge
