NECG Ruger Ghost Ring Peep Sight?

Has anybody used this sight yet and how do you like them. Would they work with factory front sight with white bead? I have a 375 Ruger Guide Gun and thinking about installing this sight for elk hunting in the thick stuff. Shots are well within 100yds. or majority of shots closer.

I use the older version on a MKII RSI. It works fine with the factory front bead. There are a lot of variables. If your rear sight doesn't fold down there won't be much advantage unless you remove it. You may end up wanting a bigger aperture, but that is easy to do. Have you explored just using the express sight?

Have 3 or 4 of them on various rifles and an extra. I like 'em! No issues with the front sights yet.

Thanks guys! I will get one ordered soon. Shot the 375 Ruger Guide Gun today with the Factory Express Sights. They are only adjustable for windage. It shot low. My way of thinking is use this Ghost Ring peep Sight with my Woodleigh 350gr. PP load traveling 2390fps. in the thick timber for elk and use the Nosler 300gr. Accubond load traveling 2590fps. with the Leupold VX3 2.5-8x36mm for more open terrian. I have Alaskan Arms quick detach rings on it.

You may end up wanting a bigger aperture, but that is easy to do.

FWIW, if the aperture is reamed out to a larger size (like, if a ghost ring is desired), the resulting hole (aperture) is no longer round, as the flat edges of the R & L sight sidewall's forward edge intrude into the sight picture, resulting a view that looks like a vertical slot with flat sides & rounded top/bottom.
