Hello, I recently purchased what I believe to be an unfired mint 44 carbine with the peep sight. It came with a box and manual but Immediately realized the box and manual are not original. The rifle itself looks immaculate with no wear on the loading gate or rear of charging handle. My only concern is the trigger is not like my other 44 carbines. It feels plastic and has a raised rib running down the shoe of the trigger. Does anyone know if Ruger ever used plastic triggers even for a short time? This rifle is from 1973. I'm just concerned I have got a rifle that has been refinished nicely as that trigger is a red flag to me. I paid a pretty penny so I hope not. Any help would be appreciated.
