Neat #1 rifle

Here's a neat #1 rifle that is for sale at the Rogers, MN Cabela's.
Serial numbered 131-30171 it has an additional extra number at the bottom front of the receiver, "L78-000X". This receiver evidently was originally numbered as a prototype to the Lyman Centennial Rifle in 1978. When it didn't get used for that, Ruger repurposed the receiver into a 1H .375H&H.

I really like unusual serial numbers and other markings on receivers! Some folks don't care and never look, which IIRC is why Winchester Model 70 serial number 1 spent years as an inherited 'truck gun' down in Texas...
