National championship!

That was one heck of a game. The ending especially. Both teams have some fine young players and good coaches, they should both be contenders the next couple years.

Yes, Georgia has a great team and should be really good going forward.

ROLL TIDE!!!

Yep...when that freshman QB they've got get's a little more time under his belt, he's going to be even harder to deal with.
On the other hand, if/when Nick Saban finally realizes that he needs to put more effort towards recruiting a first class place kicker, Bama is going to be harder to deal with too. ...

Roll tide.

Arrg! I wish I had! Both teams have tried to one up the other since I can remember. This is what football was meant to be IMO

Georgia is tough! When bama went into halftime down 13-0, I was not optimistic. But Saban ahs been great at motivating a good second half. The whole dynamic of playing for the title game against one of his former coaching staff was classic - in this case, the "old master" came out on top, but it was close. Kirby Smart is an outstanding coach.

I enjoyed the game. I told my wife early in the game that Hurts looked a bit lackluster from the start. She was surprised that Nick pulled him. Of course I'm happy to see that there will be a 17 on the helmet next year, and hopefully Alabama can win another next year. 7 National Championships will look good on Nick's legacy.....,

ROLL TIDE!!!!

Saban has already signed the #1 place kicker. Kid from South Carolina. Looks like Hurts may be headed to Texas if the rumors are true. Tua's little brother is a junior and passed for 3800+yards this year in highschool. Closest stats to his were 2800 yds.

Nick has a bunch of juniors heading to the NFL this year....going to be interesting to see who can " fill the shoes" so to speak....

Just going from what I've seen his freshmen do this year, I doubt that "filling shoes" is going to be much of a problem. .

Not a GA or Bama fan, but I believe the bad offsides call on the blocked punt and then the lack of the face mask call beginning the 2nd half took the momentum away from GA and they never got it back. I realize there were probably missed calls on both sides (especially lack of holding calls on OL), but those 2 missed calls beginning 2nd half were the most egregious and both benefited Bama. I hate to see horrible officiating take away from an otherwise great game.
