While hospitalized recently, a cardiologist was called in to care for my wife. You think you have a hard time getting through airport security?

This doctor is of Hindu Indian lineage, and looks very much the part. But his name really would raise eyebrows: Hi name is Dr. Bomb. When asked his name, he surely must whisper.............

I have a long time customer from Syria who's a commercial charter pilot.
Lots of one way commercial flights to get to wherever the chartered aircraft
were left or staged to. The stories he has about flying after 911 are pretty
entertaining.
Pilot from the mid-east on one way tickets....oh yah!
Mid-east pilot climbing into business jets in the middle of the night...yup.
He's a lot of fun to talk with, has a great sense of humor.

WAY back when . . . . IBM had a field replaceable memory unit. The Basic
Operating Memory. AMAZING how few times it took for the name to change
when several Field Engineers (service people that went to the customers)
were almost arrested trying to board a plane with one. :roll:

Suddenly it was the Basic SYSTEMS Memory.

True story there (from the late '60s).
