I'm a new poster around here, so I thought I'd show the gun that got me interested in Rugers. I've collected and shot a lot of guns over the years, and to be honest, aside from Ruger's 77/22s, I never was too excited about the brand. It didn't have anything to do with politics or whatever, I just wasn't interested. A couple of years ago, I borrowed a friend's Super Single Six for a few weeks just to try something different. I loved it - and when he wouldn't sell it, I bought this.

I never looked at Rugers the same.

Welcome and very nice SS!

Be careful or you'll catch the disease called Rugeritis - it's like a rash and there's no cure.

That's how I started about 10 years ago or so, one nice single six and now it's 30 or so and I'm always broke. Bad hobby to be in, but it keeps me out of the bars, but my wife's always giving me hell as I beg for money. You're probably hooked, welcome to the club.

Wow, that's a nice collection Jim! Maybe in twenty years I'll put something like that together. Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome!

There's something wrong with that Single Six, it's yelling feed me....

your photos are amazing

Thank you! It's in regular range rotation, but I'm super picky about taking care of my guns so it stays in great shape. I do love to shoot it.

And thanks for the compliments on the photos, I'm a pretty avid picture-snapper and positive feedback is encouraging.
