I finally found/bought a knife I've wanted since they were first introduced - a Browning Model 52 Ltd Edition (1 of 2500) sheath knife.

Both upper & lower tangs have some filework.

The knife was made by Seki for Browning, to match their Model 52 & 53 retro-rifles.

Hi,

Beautiful knife, with a very usable blade shape! I'm not a fan of "file work" anywhere but the place I'd put my thumb on top of the blade, however, it seems to be popular now with knife builders all the way from commercial makers to the top custom smiths, so we can just "file" that under personal preference. ;)

Ya done good, Pete!

oh, its a knife........I was wondering where you had the space to store it.
Ya had me going with the airplane thought also-touché. On the knife thought-WOW! That is a pretty, but practical knife. It doesn't matter one way or another to me about filing, though, like Rick, I love it where the thumb goes. 8)
