This is my first post of a gun. I thought it would be a good way to introduce myself. This is the reason I like Ruger revolvers. This is my great grandfathers single six WMR only. It's still and will stay unconverted. It was given to my father when my great grandfather passed away and was passed to me on my 18th birthday. It's a shooter and has some good honest wear but not a spot of rust on it. It locks up tight and shoots great groups. If any of you Ruger buffs know something more about it feel free to let me know. Enough talking:

That's the kind of gun that needs no fancy grips or any other bells and whistles. Keep it just like it is and shoot the hell out of it. Think of Grandpa while your having that fun.

I'm assuming your Dad is still around. You can't buy a gun like that, they're handed down just as yours was.

Nice old single six! That it was your grandfathers makes it even more special!

A very nice RSSM--they shoot great :) I have serial #303324--with aftermarket sights--to own a gun that belonged to your Grandfather  awesome 8) 8) our numbers are close :)
