Glad you got one of the spurless hammers that have the correct checkering on the top. I got two that were serrated (left to right) and although they worked fine, I always thought they were someone's project that wasnt finished. One of the people who Ruger sent to Colombia to build Security Sixes down there said they only checkered the top of the hammer on the spurless ones, and some hammers were double action only and had not checkering - but I have never seen one.

I just love rants on shipping... NOT. Do you think Numrich should not charge the labor involved to package , move it with their facility etc. No doubt they lost money on your purchase.
