I have laid my finger on the barrel at the end of the ejector rod housing and squinted one eye looking at it

But... Nah I'll leave it 5.5. I'll try to take a deer with it this season since I couldn't talk Stan into it. Then it will go to the back of the safe for a while. The only change that I "might" make to it is to have a #5 grip frame fitted by some big name gunsmith and maybe some ivories. If it has to be 5.5 it might as well resemble a No. 5
