Hey Folks,
I went ahead and put some finish on my stock since I've had the action glass bedded I didn't want to leave the wood in the raw. I used a custom mix of Mimwax stains and LOTS of sanding with4,6 and 800 grit paper.
Sealed it with 6 coats of Formby's high gloss tuug oil .
I'm still gonna have my buddy refinish it when I can afford it.
He used a petroleum based stain that really makes the tiger striping and figuring of the Birch rrally pop .
Anyway here's a few pics, not to bad if I do say so my self.

Haven't got her to the range yet, it's closed till next month, but I'm expecting good things from her .
She should be well under 1 MOA, somewhere between 1/2-3/4" three shot groups at 100 yards.
No reason why she shouldn't do that, she was just one an inch before in the original walnut stock without all the springs, parts and custom bedding .
I built her to be a precision long range rifle.
I put all the right stuff in her and had one of the best M1A gunsmiths in the world do the bedding, shim the gas block and polish the gas piston.
She should shoot like a house a fire .
Guess will see, can't hardly wait.
Lou
