Thought you would like to see my latest project in pictures.
Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt / .45 ACP 5 1/2"
I haven`t even fired this one yet. I bought it for a project to begin with.
I fitted a SS grip frame and Ejector housing assy. Replaced the springs with a Wolf reduced power kit and Made the grips.
I think it came out pretty fair. Possible BBQ gun for informal BBQ`s. :D

This one makes 12 .45`s in my collection. One can never have too many .45`s.
I was going to CCH the frame but chickened out. I can use that money for my next one that is already on order. Another .45 will make it an even number (13) maybe I needed to order two. I am not superstitious but what the heck, 14 would be nice.

Nice!
I know what you mean about 45's. I passed the number 13 a while back. Couldn't wait to get # 14 but I'm not superstitious either.

That's beautiful work, Chuck! I love how your grips turned out--top quality job there.

I'm partial to the two-tone concept. Here's one I put together last year:

Next up for this one will be a Belt Mt. pin (in stainless, of course), maybe a Bowen rough country rear sight, and some homemade grips. If I can make some grips that look half as nice as yours, I'll be happy.

And you're right, you can never have too many .45s!
