Picked this up not too long ago (thanks to a purchase from a RF member). It's a 1990 GP100 4" Blued .357 with a half lug barrel and fixed rear sight. Came with compact Lett grip from the factory, but I just put a set of the full size grips on there (thanks to a trade with another RF member). It balanced nicely before, but now it's amazing.

Really like this GP, and thought I'd share a couple pics. It's just a cool gun that's not available anymore and I thought it a rare find in this condition for it's age. The seller stated it was unfired, and it sure looks that way. It won't be for much longer. When my crazy life slows down a little, I'm headed to the range!

I'm no artist so don't be too critical haha.

Pics from the sale ad I bought it from:

Good looking gun. I think I like the compact grip better with the shorted barrel. And your pictures are nice too. Good lighting and focus.

Both my GP's shoot great . Your in for some fun shooting, take her to the range

That's a nice revolver. Unfired? I doubt it based on the ring made by the indexing pawl dragging across the cylinder. Still a nice gun, and the GP stands up to a lot of use. It will be a great shooter, I'm sure.

I had a 3" stainless. This blued one just really caught my eye for some reason. As far as it being unfired, yeah the turn ring, which is very faint (more pronounced with a flash on it), is there from dry firing. Honestly even if it had been shot it's pretty pristine for it's age

I have the same configuration and it's my "Go To" revolver. The balance is perfect and it's been accurate with every load I've tried in it.

Excellent. I owned a 4" stainless GP a while back. Newer model, nothing special. I sold it when I needed cash. I'd own another one in a heartbeat. Damn fine guns. I actually prefer Ruger to S&W. Go figure.
